Elegant villa with sensational sea views

Sitting on the edge of the Adriatic, Ocean View is the ultimate in comfort and is just a ten-minute drive from Dubrovnik Old Town.

The villa has been cleverly designed to take full advantage of the unique location and to enjoy the fabulous views of Daksa Island, Grebeni rocks and the turquoise sea.

The interior is simply amazing, with Swarovski chandeliers and Persian rugs, art and sculptures by famous 20th-century artists - each detail was carefully selected to create a sophisticated, yet homey atmosphere. Marble flooring extends throughout the communal areas, making the house delightfully cool in the summer months. The bedrooms have floors made of Croatian oak to add a touch of warmth, while the bathrooms are also in marble. 

There is an elegant foyer, with an impressive floating staircase leading to the lower level. A few steps from the foyer is an office, although with views like this it is hard to imagine getting any work done! Next door is a fully equipped fitness room.

There is an elegant sitting room, complete with 60“ TV and doors that open onto expansive terraces with top-quality furniture overlooking the infinity pool. There is a state-of-the-art kitchen, with a custom-made table for twelve; the kitchen is, of course, fully equipped.

There are five bedrooms in the villa and two more people can be accommodated on the pull-out sofa. Three bedrooms are on the west side and there are two separate guest suites on the east – secluded and perfect for older children or those who would like extra privacy.

The master bedroom is quite exquisite, with works of one of Europe's most renowned artists and sleek decor. The bathroom is just stunning, with Onyx floors and walls and a roomy massage tub by the front window; guests can enjoy a morning bath whilst watching the dolphins playing in the sea. This bedroom is designed for open living; there are no doors separating the bathroom from the rest of the bedroom. 

The bedroom next door has the same amazing view from its Jacuzzi bath and again is open-plan with no doors separating the bathroom and bedroom. 

The bedrooms on the east side are spacious with subtle decor in neutral colours, accentuated by bright pieces of art. Each of these rooms has its own shower room.

Sunbathing and swimming are a special experience at Ocean View, a stone staircase descends all the way to the sea and stone pier, dotted with lounge chairs, and there is also a boat dock. There is outside dining for twelve people.

Although the property is close to all facilities its elevated position means there are quite a few hills so a car is recommended.

Due to the open staircase, different levels and infinity pool, this is not considered suitable for very young children.
