Stylish villa is a lovely setting
Set amid olive groves, vineyards and citrus orchards, Villa Erini sits at the front of Orašac village, just 12 kilometers west of the magnificent Dubrovnik Old Town. Its clean-cut, modern lines are in contrast to the surrounding rugged slopes and the quaint ambiance of the village. The villa is just a short ride from the Arboretum Trsteno, which featured on Game of Thrones, and even closer to Dubrovnik Sun Gardens Resort – perfect for a spa day or use of the private beach.
Historically this area was beloved of Dubrovnik aristocracy who had summer estates set in elaborate gardens. In the 16th Century, the clean air of Orašac also attracted the Florentine elite.
The villa has fragrant Mediterranean gardens and a tucked-away terrace lounge with a barbeque and swimming pool. The east-west orientation of the villa ensures long hours of sunshine and wonderful sea views from the front and bedrooms. The ground floor is open-plan with the bedrooms on the first floor, there is also a roof terrace with panoramic views.
The villa has clean lines and bold details with a Mediterranean feel; bright artwork and hand-picked furniture created by renowned regional designers inspired by the colour palette of Dubrovnik’s 20th Century artists.
The main living accommodation is bright with a lovely wooden dining table to sit up to twelve, the living area has stylish designer sofas and armchairs and the kitchen has top-quality appliances for keen cooks, alternatively a private chef can be arranged. The ground floor seamlessly transitions into a private terrace with the swimming pool beyond which has unique black and white tiles, there are sun beds and a barbecue.
The unique central staircase in the entrance foyer leads to the first floor. Each bedroom is ensuite and has a private balcony. With high ceilings and plenty of space the bedrooms can accommodate up to three extra guests on pull-out sofa beds. The front facing rooms have beautiful sea views while the side rooms overlook the village. Each room has a TV.

"We highly recommend a walk around the walls of Dubrovnik. For around 200 Kuna, you can walk the entire circumference of the city, taking in the spectacular views of the terracotta roofs, interesting architecture, stunning gardens and, of course, the Adriatic Sea beyond. The sea sparkles a beautiful blue and is practically transparent to the sea bed, apparently down to the high salt content, making it very unique indeed."
"Eating out in the Old Town, or just outside the walls, can be pricey, especially when the establishments boast such sensational views! However, it is possible to find cheaper places to eat and it is worth exploring the different areas of Dubrovnik such as Gruz and Lapad where you will find many more restaurants and bars to enjoy."
