Set within the breathtaking Arrábida landscape, framed by rolling vineyards, ancient olive trees and fragrant orange groves, this remarkable country estate is a rare Portuguese gem, just 40 minutes from Lisbon.

Steeped in heritage yet thoughtfully enhanced with modern comforts, the property exudes the timeless grace and romance of a bygone era. As dusk falls, the distant glow of Lisbon’s lights casts a magical shimmer across the horizon, adding to the home’s undeniable allure.

Beyond the grand entrance hall, the interiors are elegant and welcoming. The living room offers two generous sitting areas, one centred around a striking wood-burning fireplace, perfect for relaxed gatherings. The spacious dining room is designed for memorable entertaining, with sweeping views across the undulating countryside providing a spectacular backdrop. The house does not have air conditioning as it enjoys a naturally cool environment in the summer, and there is heating and a log burner for cosy evenings in the cooler months.

Outdoors, the estate is enveloped by enchanting gardens. Wander along peaceful garden paths to discover a sparkling swimming pool, ideal for sun-soaked afternoons or moments of quiet beneath the shade of a majestic linden tree. Things to Be Aware of

"A visit to the city is a must but we suggest using public transport for day trips rather than taking a car as parking is tricky. There are trams that take you round the city and we can also arrange transfers and tours from your accommodation and back again for the ultimate stress-free day out."

  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 50% of the villa rental. Balance due 60 days before arrival.
