The property has been painstakingly restored to retain the authentic charm whilst being enhanced with modern comforts and conveniences. There are open-plan living spaces with lots of natural light, immaculately presented bedroom suites and even the original crushing well to remind guests of its history.
The villa is fully staffed with an in-house chef and friendly housekeeper so guests are treated to freshly prepared breakfasts prepared with local ingredients or even a poolside picnic. Almost anything is possible by request making this a truly indulgent experience.
Please note: This villa may not be suitable for families with young children due to the proximity to the river. The tranquillity may be punctuated occasionally by the Douro train line running behind the property.
