We are thrilled to be offering this beautifully renovated, 19th Century farmhouse in the Douro Valley region, surrounded by rolling countryside and a working farm. The property blends rustic charm with luxury living where nature and sustainable living is at the heart of every detail.

Inside, the house is beautifully designed, with a modern, minimalist aesthetic that complements the traditional architecture. The spacious living areas are flooded with natural light and the huge windows offer breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Natural materials, elegant furnishings and a modern kitchen create a welcoming and comfortable environment where guests will immediately feel at home.

The property features an indulgent spa area with indoor swimming pool, sauna, and Jacuzzi with views of the countryside. Outside, there are numerous areas to relax and unwind; seating under the canopy of the trees, rustic log benches around a fire pit, and an alfresco dining area with outdoor kitchen and barbecue for those memorable meals in the fresh air. Guests are welcome to pick fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden, and the younger ones will enjoy meeting the farm animals (under the supervision of the adults and estate workers) and exploring the extensive grounds. 

This is the perfect choice for those looking for a peaceful escape from busy lives, surrounded by the unique natural beauty of the Douro Valley.

“While the cobbled streets add character to Porto’s historic neighbourhoods, they can be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

Additional costs & information

  • Obligatory check-out clean £250 will applied to the booking when confirmed.
  • Solar pool heating controlled up to 28 degrees included, except for the low season when an extra charge may be applied. Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
  • Initial supply of logs provided in the cooler seasons. Additional logs will be charged.
  • Booking deposit 50% of the villa rental. Balance due 60 days before arrival.
