Beautiful townhouse in the heart of Caminha

We are thrilled to be offering this elegant townhouse, in a prime location in Caminha, close to restaurants, shops and the Minho River. Charming cafes, historic sites and boutique shops are all just a short walk away and, being so close to the river, there are water sports available and regular ferry trips across the border to Spain.

The interior of the property is stylish and comfortable. The owner has used muted greens and soft grey tones to create a calm and modern environment. The contemporary kitchen is well equipped and has a central island, ideal for social get togethers at the end of a day of exploring. It opens out onto a covered terrace overlooking the pool area.

Outside, there is a sunbathing terrace around the pool and a built-in barbecue for alfresco cooking.

The property features private, covered parking just off the main high street which is very rare for this area and a real highlight as parking can be tricky in this popular town. The train station is also a vew moments away on foot making this property a great base for exploring this wonderful area.

“While the cobbled streets add character to Porto’s historic neighbourhoods, they can be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

Additional costs & information

  • Tourist Tax €1.50 per person, per night for all guests aged 16 and over for a maximum of 7 nights for stays between May - September. €1 per guest per night between Oct - Apr This will be charged at parity to cover processing fees.
  • 7 night minimum stay in July & August. 5 nights at other times.
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
