Restored farmhouse ideal for larger groups

Villa Prado is an 18th century farmhouse which has been lovingly restored to create a comfortable and spacious holiday home. Surrounded by hectares of vineyards, it is set in a beautiful valley that catches the sun from dawn to sunset.

The original building has been preserved with restorative stonework that perfectly matches the old walls. The rooms are bright and spacious with plenty of natural light and the dining room features a large, wooden table made by a local craftsman, which seats 14 people. The kitchen enjoys lovely views across the valley towards an ancient monastery on the nearby hillside. The bedrooms are all a good size and the two bedrooms and bathroom on the main floor have been designed to allow wheelchair access.

Outside, there are two large patio areas at the front and the back of the property which are perfect for alfresco dining. There is a huge swimming pool within the landscaped garden, where there are also fruit trees and olive trees and a space perfect for outdoor games like badminton or football, or even yoga and fitness routines. A shaded barbecue area has been designed to have easy access to the house for those all important family barbecues.

Lower Level: Master bedroom with king size bed, bunk beds (best suited to children) and ensuite shower room. 3 twin bedrooms with ensuite shower rooms.

Limited Mobility - This property has a bedroom and shower room on the ground floor with little or no steps in the living areas or to the swimming pool/garden, so may be considered suitable for someone with limited mobility. As everyone's needs are different, please check with us at time of booking to ensure suitability for your group.

Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

Additional costs & information

  • Extra Bed £75 per person, per week (2 available)
  • 7 night minimum stay in July & August. 5 nights at other times.
  • Saturday arrival preferred in July & August. Alternative arrival on a request basis only to avoid leaving empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount.  Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
