Splendid property with tennis court and heated pool near the beach

Set within easy reach of the sandy beaches of Cepas, Esposenda, this lovely house is spacious and welcoming.

The open-plan living space features doors that open out to the pool terrace and garden, and a dining table that converts into a table tennis or pool table. The bedrooms are all of a great size, and there are modern facilities throughout.

Outside, there is a walled garden with some lawned areas around the pool and some good quality sun loungers. Guests can also enjoy the tennis court and 5-a-side football pitch, meaning the whole family is entertained. The tennis court is not full-sized but is perfect for engaging in friendly, casual matches.

A highlight of this villa is the proximity to numerous white sandy beaches and the wide choice of restaurants, cafes and shops in Esposende. The coastal strip stretching from Esposende to Ofir and Fao has been classified as a protected landscape area and is considered to be one of the most beautiful stretches of Portugal's northern coastline. An excellent 9-hole golf course is set on the bank of the Cavado River, about a 15-minute drive away. Oporto town centre is about a 30-minute drive away. The old town centre is classified as a World Heritage Site and was selected as Europe's Best Destination for 2017!

“While the cobbled streets add character to Porto’s historic neighbourhoods, they can be challenging for those with mobility concerns. Navigating the city involves hills and uneven surfaces, which might pose difficulties for individuals with limited mobility or those pushing strollers. We recommend you wear comfortable footwear when exploring the city.”

Additional costs & information

  • Pool Heating £245 per week. Minimum charge 1 week. Please note that we cannot guarantee the pool temperature. In general, pool heaters are installed and managed according to the size of the pool and health and safety guidelines but weather conditions, such as colder nights, rain and strong winds can affect the normally achievable temperature.
  • 7 night minimum stay in July & August. 5 nights at other times.
  • Saturday arrival preferred in July & August. Alternative arrival on a request basis only to avoid leaving empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
