300-year-old finca, beautifully restored, set within a 25-acre estate

Gabriel is in an idyllic location, nestled in the countryside with lovely mountain views. Set across two floors, the property has many traditional features, including stone walls and beamed ceilings, which add to its unique charm and character. It is located in a quiet area, off a country track, and offers peace and tranquillity with beautiful views across the valley.

As you enter the house, wooden double doors open into the spacious open-plan dining room with two steps leading up to the living room, which has an unusual round table made from an original olive press. The kitchen is traditional in style, with modern features and is very well equipped.

A very special feature of this house is the drawing room with comfortable sofas and chairs, a log fireplace and an original stone wall. From here, a wooden staircase leads up to the open-plan double bedroom with ensuite shower room. This bedroom has wooden floors and enjoys beautiful views across the countryside. From the main hall, a second staircase leads up to the rest of the accommodation, two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, sharing two bathrooms. Most of the rooms have vaulted ceilings, wooden beams and rustic artefacts.

Whilst there is no air conditioning, this country house is refreshingly cool in summer due to the thick, stone walls. Outside is rustic and delightful with sun loungers, a pretty garden and a swimming pool with corner steps. The alfresco dining terrace overlooks the pool and garden, and there is a built-in charcoal barbecue.

"We particularly love the traditional Mallorcan fincas with stone walls, wooden beams and bags of charm, often with a mountain backdrop across vibrant green valleys. The scenery is quite something."

Things to Be Aware of

"Away from the main, tourist areas there are some stunning and secluded beaches just off the beaten track which are well worth exploring but, remember, not all of them will have facilities so make sure you pack provisions like water and snacks just in case."

Additional costs & information

  • Saturday arrival only during July & August
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day outside of these dates we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable
  • The Balearic government require a tourist tax, payable with the final balance. For travellers over the age of 16yrs the Balearic Tourist Tax is €2.20 per person per night for the first 7 nights.  €1.10 per person per night thereafter. This is charged at parity to allow for fluctuation rates and administration costs and will be applied to your booking automatically.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount. Balance due 8 weeks before departure.
