An elegant villa with sensational views of the sea and Old Town Dubrovnik
Villa Madonna is a waterfront, luxurious and historic home, situated just outside the Walls of Old Town Dubrovnik, in the most elite residential area. There is an unobstructed sea view overlooking the island Lokrum, Banje Beach and the beautiful Old Town Dubrovnik.
Villa Madonna is classified as a protected-heritage property in Croatia and it has been in the same family since 1705. The current owner recently completed a three-year restoration in honor of his aunt, from whom he inherited the home, furnishing the interior with a blend of her charming antiques and a stylish, modern, Mediterranean décor.
The property has three floors, five bedrooms and five bathrooms. A stone archway leads to a beautifully furnished, open living room with sensational views. This leads through to the main living room with dining area and kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with chef-grade appliances and rustic countertops.
There is a unique blend of comfort, luxury and history throughout the house. The hallway on the first floor is decorated with old photographs and antique artefacts which bring the family and property history to life.
Outside is splendid, with outdoor dining and chill out areas and a heated swimming pool, all benefiting from the unique position with breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea.

"We highly recommend a walk around the walls of Dubrovnik. For around 200 Kuna, you can walk the entire circumference of the city, taking in the spectacular views of the terracotta roofs, interesting architecture, stunning gardens and, of course, the Adriatic Sea beyond. The sea sparkles a beautiful blue and is practically transparent to the sea bed, apparently down to the high salt content, making it very unique indeed."
"Eating out in the Old Town, or just outside the walls, can be pricey, especially when the establishments boast such sensational views! However, it is possible to find cheaper places to eat and it is worth exploring the different areas of Dubrovnik such as Gruz and Lapad where you will find many more restaurants and bars to enjoy."
