Countryside villa with Roman-style swimming pool and mountain views

Rowena is a delightful country house situated in the well-known Colonya Valley which is surrounded by mountains, olive trees and orchards.  There are wonderful walks from here into the surrounding countryside but it is also just a short drive to Pollenca which has an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops.

The farmhouse house has recently been completely renovated combining the original charm of exposed bricks and wooden beams with beautiful modern designs and stylish decor.

On the ground floor, there is a spacious hallway and dining area that opens out onto the cobblestone sun terraces and the pool beyond.  There is also a cosy living room with comfortable seating, football table and TV. The kitchen is fully equipped and has an attractive island with bar stools for breakfast or casual dining and a seating area with original, decorative wood burning stove.

An interior stone arch leads to a double ensuite bedroom. The other bedrooms are situated on the first floor and are all decorated with a neutral, fresh feel and all have air conditioning.

Outside there is a wood oven and a barbecue ideal for alfresco dining during the hot summer months. The Roman-style swimming pool is framed by a wonderful terrace with ample sunbeds and dining furniture and with the amazing countryside as a backdrop, this really is a very special place to enjoy the Mallorcan sunshine.

Please note, as the house in situated in the countryside, there may be friendly, neighbouring cats roaming around the garden.

Things we love

"We particularly love the traditional Mallorcan fincas with stone walls, wooden beams and bags of charm, often with a mountain backdrop across vibrant green valleys. The scenery is quite something."

Things to Be Aware of

"Away from the main, tourist areas there are some stunning and secluded beaches just off the beaten track which are well worth exploring but, remember, not all of them will have facilities so make sure you pack provisions like water and snacks just in case."

Additional costs & information

  • Additional Cot & Highchair £49 per item, per week
  • Saturday arrival and departure preferred between June & October
  • Although the villa has a flexible arrival day outside of these dates we cannot leave too many empty days between bookings. Please always check with us to make sure the dates you require are acceptable
  • The Balearic government require a tourist tax, payable with the final balance. For travellers over the age of 16yrs the Balearic Tourist Tax is €2.20 per person per night for the first 7 nights.  €1.10 per person per night thereafter. This is charged at parity to allow for fluctuation rates and administration costs and will be applied to your booking automatically.
  • Booking deposit 30% of the villa rental or £250, whichever is the greater amount.  Balance due 8 weeks before departure.

Refundable security deposit - 2025 - £600.00
Refundable security deposit - 2026 - £1000.00
