Villa Geranium is in Aroeira Golf Resort which has four tennis courts, a children’s playground and a shopping mall as well as a friendly clubhouse with snack bar and a communal tropical swimming pool. The resort has two 18-hole courses amid a dense pine forest and is close to some of the best beaches in Portugal.
It is a charming property with spacious bedrooms, a large and elegant sitting room with library and fireplace, dining area and a spacious kitchen with breakfast table. There is a 1,200 square metre garden and a private pool.
The accommodation is on three levels, with the upper levels accessed via a wooden staircase which might not be suitable for children.
Geranium is close to Marcia (50m) so may be a good choice for families wanting to holiday near each other

"A visit to the city is a must but we suggest using public transport for day trips rather than taking a car as parking is tricky. There are trams that take you round the city and we can also arrange transfers and tours from your accommodation and back again for the ultimate stress-free day out."
